THE ROLE
This is an exciting new role for recent graduate, reporting to the Operations Strategy team embracing Operations P&L forecast, supporting the continued evolution of strategy and scenario planning.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Improve Short-term predictability: Run short-term forecast for Operations P&L lines, working with different stakeholders; Work with data to identify main insights to reach better solutions for financial modelling and forward forecast.
- Portfolio performance monitoring: Understand operations strategy and projects’ portfolio to consolidate and track the value of all initiatives being developed within operations teams, with special focus on delivery and payments areas.
- Operations P&L performance monitoring: Create monthly reports highlighting discrepancies and risks against the plan, identifying causes and providing recommendations to get back on track. Create and communicate dashboards in data visualization tools such as Looker.
- Support projects and decision-making process: Support Ops Strategy team with new projects as they arise that demand data expertise or Ops P&L knowledge, processing data to provide trade-offs analysis, scenarios simulation and insights about new trends.
WHO YOU ARE
- Recent graduated in economics, management, maths or engineering or any other related field that includes a strong analytical focus.
- Strong analytical skills and detail oriented, having the ability to work with a large amount of data, analysing patterns and proposing data-driven options/scenarios.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office tools (specially Excel with focus on pivot tables) and motivated to learn SQL/BQ and data visualization tools such as looker, power BI, tableau, among others.
- Interested in building new tools and willing to improve the already existing ones
- Empathic, collaborative in a fast-paced and rapidly-changing environment with competing deadlines
- Dynamic, with a high sense of responsibility and a problem-solver.
- Fluency in English is mandatory, both written and spoken;
- Curious about ecommerce dynamics and fun to work with!
